The Hidden Mile  /  Working from here

Working from here

A long desk under the window, Wi-Fi that holds, power backup for when the hill does not, and 15% off if you stay three nights or more midweek.

The Valley Room desk, TV and balcony - a workation room near Mussoorie
The Valley Room desk

A workation only works if the boring things work. Plenty of hill stays sell you the view and leave you hotspotting off a phone, on a bed, with no back support. Here is exactly what you get instead.

The practical part

Desk
Full lengthA proper desk running under the window in The Valley Room, with a chair, not a stool
Wi-Fi
Free, in all roomsTell us if you have calls and we will put you where it holds best
Power
Backup on siteCuts happen on this road in bad weather; your laptop will not notice
Food
All dayCooked to order in the cafe, so you eat when the meeting ends, not when the kitchen says
Tea and coffee
In the roomA kettle and a tray, refilled
Quiet
A mile off the roadEight rooms, no lobby, no functions, no music

What a longer stay costs

Stay three nights or more between Sunday and Thursday and the rate drops 15%. That takes The Valley Room from ₹5,500 to ₹4,675 a night, and The Macramé Room from ₹4,000 to ₹3,400. Mention your dates on WhatsApp and we apply it — there is no code to hunt for.

Take the Valley Room if you are working: it has the desk, and a balcony to step onto between calls. Take the Macramé Room if you are writing and would rather have no view to look at.

Why midweek here beats midweek nearer town

Mussoorie is sixteen kilometres away — close enough to drive in for an evening, far enough that its weekend crowds are somebody else’s problem. Sunday to Thursday this road is genuinely empty. That is the whole pitch.

Staying a while?

Send us your dates and roughly what your days look like — calls, quiet, early starts — and we will put you in the right room and sort the discount.
